I didn’t finish NaNoWriMo this year. Once again, circumstances beyond my control. I did get a really good start, though! Pretty sure I would’ve hit those 50k words had I been able to type for a week. One good thing came from my downtime. I was mentally reviewing the book(s) in my head and realized the characters had been writing it for me. I also discovered the Sound Recorder on my computer. I can think and talk and record and then listen and type later.
Speaking of typing later, I swear it freaking takes me an hour to type what used to take me 10 minutes. Ended up jerking off my brace yesterday thanks to a super busy Cyber Monday, so I could type faster. I regretted it later when the pain kicked in. Lessee… another 7 weeks of having to wear a brace? Or 6 weeks, 4 days. 46 days.. January 14th, I think? At least that’s before my birthday, so yay!
Wow… typing that made me realize how close we are to the end of the year. Less than 4 weeks until Christmas. I haven’t bought anyone anything. =/ Had my mom’s present figured out, but don’t have the cash to buy at the moment. Had a somewhat idea of what to get a friend, but once again, no money. Was going to give 2 aunts, 2 cousins, 1 uncle $20 / each. And was going to knit my cousin a scarf because she wanted one and liked my normal wild designs. I could probably do that, but it’d take longer than the normal 2 days. Decisions, decisions..
In other news.. I have subdermal hematoma on the left and right side of my stomach. In layman’s terms.. I have two giant balls of blood under my skin on either side of my stomach. They’re supposed to dissolve in 4-6 weeks. *grumbles*
